 This is an entry level course 2 day course designed for individuals who have been tasked with carrying out auditing functions and feel they could benefit from some guidance in basic auditing skills as well as an improving their understanding of the standard they are working with. (eg ISO 9001 or ISO 14001)

Both standards contain many common elements, so if you use either standard you will find this course beneficial. At least half the course will be devoted to improving your internal auditing skills, like being adequately prepared, making good use of auditing techniques, creating a report that will be read and acted on by management and the ability to 'sell' your findings to staff at all levels. The other half of the course has been designed to ensure you have an adequate knowledge of the standard you will be  using so you can carry out the audit with confidence.
